碎片化學習模式

每次完成課程或講座後， 其中一個最常被問到的問題。 是我有什麼推薦的書籍或網站， 由於我分享的題目是一些較新的營銷技術。 基本上這些知識都是零碎地，在大量不同的網站學習而來。 這次分享我的學習模式。

Step 1) 善用碎片化時間

我大部分的知識是乘車途中累積。數年前決定創業後，便移除所有手機遊戲和新聞 app，關掉 WhatsApp 、 Messenger 等所有通知。善用這些零碎時間學習或寫作。


Step 2) Google 搜尋對未來用得著的知識

我很少去逛書店看有什麼新書。因為真正的學習是先有一個清晰的目標，而不是書店給你什麼新書。目標學習的知識，一般是對我未來六個月的工作上有幫助。這讓我有足夠大的熱情和推動力去持續學習。

我會先搜尋想學的字詞，例如 “Marketing Automation” ，然後快速看不同文章，嘗試找出有什麼共同提到的重點。過程中不要分心，要專注於對工作有幫助的知識。


Step 3) 累積「已知不知」 Unknown Known

知識可分為三層：

  • 頂層：已知我知 known knowns
  • 中層：已知不知 known unknowns
  • 底層：不知道自己不知 unknown unknown

過程中應會發現大量陌生的字詞， 例如： “Customer journey 、Lead nurturing、ActiveCampaign、 Drip marketing etc…” 很多人會在這裡放棄。但好消息是，你知道自己正向中層推進。

人見識越深，越發現自己無知。世上最危險的五個字： 我已經知道。

很多時，會見到文章推介一些書本。我會在 YouTube 找這些書本的內容精華，然後開啓字幕用兩倍速看聽。


Step 4) 直至能預測內容

重覆 step 2 ~ 4，將經常出現但對其概念含糊不清的字詞再去搜尋，例如： “Lead nurturing” 。當中又發現更多陌生字詞，例如” Lead scoring、prospecting” 等。 持續發現有什麼不知道。

直至快速向下滾動看副標題時，都能預測到文章內容。(這可能是一星期到一個月，很視乎對該領域有否基本知識)

Step 5) 默想如何真實應用

當初學習的原因很清晰，是為了應用在工作上，而非為學而學。故需要想像如何真實應用。我有時會到咖啡室，專注構思如何執行。


Step 6) 轉化成長期記憶

教導別人是最有效幫助自己吸收的方法。為了更清晰向其他人去表達，會迫使你將內容建構成一個框架。我一般使用 Why > What > How 的方式，這個下次再獨立分享。我會再默想一些比喻去演譯，這有效轉化成長期記憶。

要「學」更要「習」

知道一件事，不代表理解。沒有真正應用，都是紙上談兵。將知識真實應用練習，才是真正的「學」「習」。

大量行動、遇到挫敗、 然後大量修正再行動。反覆練習，反覆修正才會有所領悟，才能繼續向頂層 (已知我知 known knowns) 推進。

聰明或許是天生，但智慧是舐嘢 (從挫敗) 中累積。

舐，音 laai2，一般指遇到麻煩的事情。坊間部分人不懂「舐」的正確寫法，故寫成發音相近的「瀨」，音 laai6。「舐」本身是解作用舌頭來舔，而「嘢」則是「東西」的粵語稱謂。例子﹕「呢次舐嘢啦，露營都唔記得帶蚊怕水。」出處 - 今日校園
